Who can attend the workshop?
The workshop is open to dancers ages 8 and above. Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or experienced dancer, you’re welcome to join!
What will Alexander Noel be teaching?
Alexander Noel will be teaching one of his signature choreographies — “Kantha” or “Kalyani.”
The final choreography will be announced closer to the workshop.
Get ready to experience his distinctive approach to Bollywood and Indian fusion choreography, musicality, expression, storytelling, and performance.
What can I expect from the workshop?
This is more than just learning steps!
Alexander will take dancers through the choreography while focusing on the details that bring it to life — musicality, expressions, movement quality, transitions, storytelling, and performance.
You’ll have the opportunity to learn the nuances behind his choreography and understand how he interprets music through movement.
Is this workshop suitable for beginners?
Yes! Dancers of different levels are welcome. The choreography will be broken down and taught during the workshop.
A basic comfort with picking up choreography is helpful, but you do not need to be an advanced dancer to participate.
Will experienced dancers benefit?
Absolutely! Experienced dancers can focus on Alexander’s musical interpretation, textures, dynamics, expressions, execution, and the finer details that make his choreography unique.
Do I need to learn “Kantha” or “Kalyani” before coming?
No! You do not need to prepare the choreography beforehand.
Come ready to learn it directly from Alexander himself.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable dance or athletic clothing that allows you to move freely.
Comfortable athletic shoes or dance sneakers are recommended unless otherwise instructed.
What should I bring?

How early should I arrive?
Please arrive 15–20 minutes before the workshop begins for check-in and to get settled.
Can parents watch the workshop?
To provide the best learning environment and maximize dance space, the workshop is intended for registered participants only.
Will Alexander provide individual feedback?
Alexander will provide guidance, corrections, and performance tips throughout the workshop whenever possible. Individual feedback will depend on time and class size.
Will there be an opportunity to take photos with Alexander?
Yes! We plan to have time at the end of the workshop for group photos and individual pictures with Alexander, time permitting.
Can we record the choreography?
Recording guidelines will be shared at the workshop. We ask all participants to respect Alexander’s instructions regarding filming and posting choreography.
What if I arrive late?
You’re welcome to join when you arrive, but we strongly recommend arriving on time so you don’t miss the warm-up or choreography breakdown.
How can I prepare for the workshop?
Stay hydrated, eat a light meal beforehand, wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and come ready to learn, dance, express, and challenge yourself!

Are refunds available?
Workshop registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless the event is canceled by Studio Dhoom.
Can I register at the door?
If space is available, yes. However, advance registration is highly recommended, as capacity is limited and the workshop may sell out.
How do I know my registration is confirmed?
Once your registration and payment are complete, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all workshop details.
